Experimenting

Tue Aug 11, 2009, 7:12 AM
Summer has been busy-busy so far, which means I haven't had much time for dA... I'm very behind in looking at the beautiful art you've all been submitting over the last month or so (not to mention with my own submissions!), but I will get to them soon. Maybe expect more faves and less comments, though.

I've still been taking photos whenever I can and I have many that I'm going to try and post soon, once I find the time for a bit of post-processing! I've also been experimenting: I've switched to RAW format, I've been playing with things like white balance and am shooting more and more in manual so I can really learn what I'm doing, instead of just relying on the camera to do all the work

Question, for those of you wih subscriptions:
I've been thinking of getting one for a while now, and I wanted to hear your thoughts. What do you like and dislike about them? Do you find it's worth it? Do you use the extra features regularly?

Au fond il n'y a rien de plus subjectif que l'objectif, nous ne montrons pas le monde tel qu'il existe vraiment.
Ultimately, there is nothing more subjective than the lens, we don't show the world the way it is.
