The Romans left their mark on this spot, too - about three centuries after the Greeks had arrived, they took over and built their own town just up the hill, calling the two towns Emporiae.

It’s easier to imagine what this part of the town looked like - there’s more to go on. Columns, whole floors so you can tell what was inside and what was outside, more of the walls, clearly marked streets.
